4 Lip Tips You Need to Know
Whether masks are on or off this fall, here are a few helpful tips to keep a healthy pout all year round💋
Water - Stay hydrated - always! Doing so will provide your lips with the moisture they need to stay plump and comfortable.
TIP: Drink 8 glasses of water a day between those pumpkin spice latte refills. Water doesn't always have to come from the tap - eat plenty of fruit and veggies to help you get that daily intake.
SPF - Even if summer is over (*excuse me while I wipe away a tear 😢), we can’t abandon sun protection. Make sure you’re using minimum SPF 15 to protect your lips indoors and out. Did you know? Highly pigmented or opaque products can act as a protective shield for the lips.
TIP: Look for ingredients Zinc Oxide or Titanium Dioxide as these are natural sun-protecting minerals commonly found in cosmetics. You might already be saving your skin and not even know it!
Purge - Clean out your old products regularly.Our research finds that the shelf life for different cosmetics vary anywhere from 1 to 3 years, depending on a variety of factors such as ingredients and moisture, used or unopened. If your cosmetics are paraben-free, you’ll want to dispose more frequently. We recommend replacing our products every 12 months because of this very reason. A paraben is a chemical commonly added to cosmetics as a preservative.

Colour - Express your best self with colour, but also know when a colour is wearing you. If you aren’t feeling it, change it! Nude colours are always a great go-to for everyday wear.
TIP: Go with a colour that is either one shade lighter or one shade darker than your natural lip colour. Nude is not really about finding a "skin colour" lipstick, instead it's more about emphasizing your lip's natural tone.
